This product was designed to dissipate static electricity when the metal wire is properly connected to ground, through the fitting or other means.

It’s suitable for pneumatic conveying systems for use with powder, pellets or other dry granular materials. The hose meets FDA and USDA criteria for dry food transfer systems, such as flour, rice and grains.
